Pen Cefn Cottage Holidays is a small family run business which offers high standard self-catering accommodation in tastefully converted farm buildings. There are four cottages available for letting. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The cottages are all individually styled and have been designed with your warmth and comfort in mind, hence the double glazing and central heating. The furniture, soft furnishings and all equipment, including colour television with remote controls and video, are to Tourist Board Grade 4 standard and the cottages are inspected and graded by the Tourist Board (Visit Wales) annually. You will be welcomed at "Pen Cefn" where you collect the keys for the cottage of your choice. In the cottage you will find a welcome pack with home made cake, tea, coffee, sugar and milk so that you can make a “paned” (Welsh for cuppa) on arrival which we hope will refresh you after your long journey. Fresh eggs from our free range chickens are often available for sale at Pen Cefn kitchen (as long as the chickens are doing their job properly!). EXTRAS INCLUDED IN THE TARIFF All water heating, central heating and electric including laundry facilities. Kitchen Paper-towel, cling film and cooking foil, T towels, kitchen cloths, washing up brush and liquid, kitchen cleaners. Dining Room High chair on request. Bathroom 2 bath towels per person, toilet rolls, and toilet and bathroom cleaners. Bedrooms All bed linen, additional blankets and travel cot on request (bedding for the cot is not supplied). Beds are made ready for guests’ arrival. Lending Library (this is housed in the laundry) a large and varied selection of books, videos and games are available for guests use free of charge. Launderette This is a communal launderette equipped with washing machine, tumble drier, spin drier, facilities for hand washing, an iron and ironing board. Each cottage has its own clothes line for outdoor drying if required. The launderette is warm and clothes airers are supplied. All powders etc. are supplied. PETS Pets are welcome at Pen Cefn, (please note that, with the exception of guide dogs, we can only permit one small dog (terrier size) maximum, in Hafod Las). We make an additional charge to the tariff if there is more than one pet and reserve the right to charge for all pets. FIREWORKS We regret that fireworks are not permitted at Pen Cefn regardless of the occasion being celebrated.
